For your skin to look and feel glowing and radiant, free of dead skin cells, toxins and other dirt, we suggest you to clean your skin 1-2 times a day.
With regular cleansing, both daily and the deeper weekly exfoliating and masking, helps your skin to absorb the products you apply after, even better.
Below you'll find thorough guides to use on a daily basis + weekly deep cleansing
For everyday use, and can end up drying out your skin, so I recommend using Cleansing Grains as your daily herbal powder cleanser, our 3-in-1: Cleanser, Scrub and Mask. Even when used every day, it is not drying or stressing out the skin.
You amplify a desired effect depending on what you mix it with.
Mixing with a water base will make a cleansing, mildly drawing mask, and mixing with honey, will make a moisturising and deep cleansing mask good for acne prone og dry skin.
Cleansing Grains ia a mineral rich 3-in-1 product, that gently cleanses, exfoliates, unclogs pores, and brings a natural glow to your skin and is made from organic and wildcrafted herbs and legumes.
Uses:
1. Facial Cleanser
2. Facial Scrub
3. Facial mask
Directions:
As a daily Cleanser/mild scrub:
For normal skin, mix a small amount of Cleansing Grains (1/4 tea spoon) with water, apply in circular movements, leave a minute or so, then rinse off.
If you have acne prone or ultra sensitive skin, mix the powder with a few drops of water 1 teaspoon raw honey and apply same way in circular motions. Honey is antibacterial, and may also fade dark spots and scars. Cleansing Grains removes makeup, but for gently removing remains of eye make up I personally prefer using a damp silk sponge with a drop of St. John's Wort Oil or Bright Eyes oil on.
As a Mask/mild scrub:
Mix powder with water, until it forms a paste for a drawing, deep cleansing mask, apply in circular movments and leave for 15-20 minutes.
For an ultra moisturising and healing mask, mix powder with raw honey and a few drops of water, apply and leave on for 15-20 minutes. The water base for cleansing and masks may always be substituted with your favourite water base, like green, white or herbal tea, floral water etc.
St. Johns Wort Oil can also be used for daily cleansing of super sensitive skin (or when you’re really in a hurry) use a moist silk sponge, and apply a few drops of St. John’s Wort oil.
Wipe away any dust/make up etc. Rinse with water afterwards.
This cleansing method also has a calming effect on irritated skin.
Deep cleansing your skin with a mask on a weekly basis, is a great idea, if you want to rejuvenate, moisturize and nourish your skin - you know that extra boost of love. But shouldn't be over done.
Once or a few times a week I recommend you use, one of the following masks and/or the Charcoal Soap.
Always end your cleansing routine with a hydrating floral water of choice, then apply your favorite facial oil and/or beauty salve.
Charcoal-Clay Mask
Deeply detoxifies the skin, by drawing out toxins, while rejuvenating and mineralising skin at the same time.
For a strong drawing effect, mix the Charcoal-Clay Mask with water, tea, flower water, e.g.
For a milder effect, and also to keep skin moist, mix with honey and a few drops water.
Scrub gently while applying in circular movements, then leave for 15 minutes. Steam skin with a hot, damp washing cloth, and remove mask.
Honey Spirulina Mask
A moisturizing, cleansing and nourishing face mask.
Can be used several times per week as needed.
Mix the Honey Spirulina Mask with a few drops of water, apply in circular movements, and leave on for 10 to 15 minutes. Then rinse off with warm water and a damp cloth.
If you are in a hurry, try mixing a bit of the mask with a good amount of water, so it becomes a very thin paste, almost a liquid, and use it as a quick honey wash/rings for the face. Moisturises and refreshes your skin in a second.
Charcoal Facial Soap
A is super absorbent active charcoal, it detoxifies the skin by drawing out toxins, and removing odour and particles from smoke, pollution etc. The Charcoal Facial Soap is mild, and suitable for sensitive facial skin. May also be used as a body soap if desired.
If you apple in circular motions, you’ll also receive a mild exfoliation of your facial skin
TIP: you can cut your soap bar in several pieces and have one for face, 1 for body etc. Use 1-2 per week..
