Summer naturally means you are spending more time outside in nature. That will naturally expose your skin with sun and maybe salt water, drying out the skin. There are chance of rashes and mosquito bits, sun burn or eczema due to the sun, all very common skin issues in the summertime.
So I wanted to give you a few tip for some Herbal Salvation for these common summer tendencies.
My all time favorite is the St. Johns Wort Oil. It is useful both before and after exposure to sun, as it moisturizes, softens and soothes the skin, plus it relieves the pain of skin that has been burned by sun or heat.
It also soothes and calms red, irritated and itching skin - for instance with rashes and even mosquito bites.
It works very well with the Vejbred Salve (Plantain), which is a soothing, cooling and protective healing skin ointment. Vejbred Salve is also perfect for delicate skin, red, itching, or very dry skin on its own.
If your skin or hair is dry apply the Sea Buckthorn Butter, right after a shower when the skin is still moist. It heals and
repairs, improves complexion, tones and nourishes tired and mature skin.
Use it as a leave-in conditioner, after shampooing, when the hair is still wet.
Is you facial skin extra dry? I recommend the Sea Buckthorn Oil this is a protective, repairing and rejuvenating beauty oil for dry, and sensitive skin. The Sea Buckthorn oil is rich in vitamins and antioxidants, and tones the skin while protecting it against wind and weather damages. Also soothing on sore, inflamed skin, while offering nourishment for mature skin.
Used in combination with Blancing Lavender & Rosemary Floral Water, which is calming and soothing, will have an optimal regenerative effect. This floral water
has high antioxidant properties and is rich in B-vitamins, C and E. It can also be used as a balancing and cooling spray all over the body, after sunbathing.
Enjoy the summer, sun and sea - while you take care of your skin ☀
